Hangzhou Longjing is one of my perennial favourites and according to Teaparker's book on Hangzhou Longjing, this Chinese green tea when enjoyed in different seasons brings about varying interactions with our senses. A 100g stash of this tea depending on its grade can be rather pricey. In my case, I selected a Shifeng Longjing from last Spring for about 40 Euros. Unfortunately, green teas are rather vulnerable to the effects of oxidation. To rectify this, I decided to let the leaves rest a bit in an old seed jar for a couple of minutes. A sort of revival process.
